SD plant will make tanks for ND, Mont. oil fields

BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. (AP) — Construction is under way on a plant near the northwestern South Dakota city of Belle Fourche that will make fiberglass tanks and other products for the North Dakota and Montana oil fields.

BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. (AP) — Construction is under way on a plant near the northwestern South Dakota city of Belle Fourche that will make fiberglass tanks and other products for the North Dakota and Montana oil fields.

KEVN-TV reports that Black Hills Fiberglass will employ about two dozen people at startup. Spokesman Doug Cole says that number could double in a couple of years.

Production is scheduled to begin by next spring.
