MANDAN, N.D. (AP) — A jury has found a Mandan accused of driving drunk and causing the deaths of three of his friends guilty of manslaughter.

A jury found 24-year-old Taylor Berhow guilty Wednesday of three counts of manslaughter after about four hours of deliberation.

Authorities allege that Berhow had a blood-alcohol level more than three times the legal limit for driving when he crashed into a tree on Oct. 29, 2011, killing 21-year-olds Charles Boehm and Trevor Erie and 22-year-old Eastmen Nadeau.

Berhow pleaded guilty in January but withdrew the plea when a judge rejected a plea deal that called for a five-year prison term. He faces up to 10 years in prison on each count.
