Storm brings heavy snow for some parts of ND

BISMARCK (AP) — Preliminary snow totals from the National Weather Service show two northwestern North Dakota towns have received more than a foot of snow.

BISMARCK (AP) — Preliminary snow totals from the National Weather Service show two northwestern North Dakota towns have received more than a foot of snow.

The National Weather Service said Crosby has received 18 inches of snow as of Saturday morning while Williston has received 12 inches.

A winter storm warning is in effect in western and central parts of the state through this evening. A winter weather advisory is in effect for the southern part of North Dakota along the South Dakota border.
