Letter: Chivalry alive and well in North Dakota

Following the Friday evening WDA volleyball games at Mandan High School, I was trying to negotiate the icy street and sidewalk conditions when a kind gentleman offered to help me to my vehicle in the parking lot.

He made sure I did not fall and stayed with me until I was in my vehicle. I want to thank Scott Hoffmann from Dickinson for his thoughtful and kind gesture. Chivalry is alive and well in North Dakota. Thank you.
