Dickinson police identify killed hit-and-run victim

Forty-seven-year-old Tracy Freer has been identified by the Dickinson Police Department as the victim of a hit-and-run near Villard Street on Wednesday, according to a press release.

Forty-seven-year-old Tracy Freer has been identified by the Dickinson Police Department as the victim of a hit-and-run near Villard Street on Wednesday, according to a press release.

DPD was called to the Queen City Motel parking lot at about 1 a.m.

Freer was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital and Health Center where he later died of his injuries.

The incident is still under

investigation.

Freer was quoted in a previous Press story as the owner of Queen City Motel.
