Dickinson TE Krieg named 1st team all-state

Dickinson High senior Jordan Krieg was his team’s lone selection to the Class 3A all-state first team.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound tight end had 20 receptions for 255 yards and five touchdowns during the 2012 season.

Dickinson had four juniors named to the all-state second team: running back Michael Cherwinski, punter Levi Jordheim, offensive lineman Mitchell Mehrer and safety Dylan Skabo.

Cherwinski rushed for 923 yards and six touchdowns. Skabo had 53 tackles and five interceptions. Jordheim averaged 37.7 yards per punt.
