Relief fund for burned town surpasses $100K
BUCYRUS — A relief fund set up to help residents of a southwestern North Dakota town devastated by a wildfire has surpassed $100,000.
BUCYRUS — A relief fund set up to help residents of a southwestern North Dakota town devastated by a wildfire has surpassed $100,000.
Lemmon, S.D.-based Dakota Plains Federal Credit Union set up the fund after the Oct. 17 fire swept through Bucyrus. The blaze destroyed four homes in the town of 27 people. Some families still are displaced.
