Rocky Mountain handles Mayville State with ease

The Rocky Mountain College men’s basketball team finished 2-0 at the Sam Milanovich Classic at Scott Gymnasium with a commanding victory over Mayville State 70-53.

Jeremy Nicolas led the Battlin’ Bears with 21 points and eight rebounds. Two other teammates scored in double figures, Malachi Roberts with 14 and Joel Barndt with 12 points.

Two Comets finished in double digits; Steve Ivory Jr. with 14 points and Austin Emerson scored 12.

Rocky Mountain’s next game will be back in Scott Gymnasium against Dickinson State on Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m.
