3 DHS wrestlers ranked to start year

Dickinson High had three wrestlers ranked in the Class A state individual coaches polls, which were released Monday.

Sophomore Austin Hutzenbiler is ranked No. 5 at 113 pounds while eighth-grader Caden Haugen (106) and junior Devin Berger (126) both start the season at No. 6.

Dickinson’s only action this season was a 41-30 dual victory over Minot High on Nov. 20. Dickinson’s was not in the team rankings while Minot checked in at No. 3 in the state poll and No. 2 in the West Region poll with five ranked wrestlers, including two at No. 1.
