DSU taps Tad Torgerson for vice president for finance and administration post

Dickinson State University President D.C. Coston this week announced it has hired Tad Torgerson as its new vice president for finance and administration.

Dickinson State University President D.C. Coston this week announced it has hired Tad Torgerson as its new vice president for finance and administration.

Torgerson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from DSU and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Montana. Torgerson has previously served in the same capacity at Miles Community College in Miles City, Mont., and is currently a fiscal analyst at the North Dakota Office of Management and Budget.

“We are excited that Tad has accepted our invitation to come to DSU,” Coston said in a statement. “Those who have worked closely with him attest to his high standards of performance and impeccable integrity.”

Along with his wife, Rene, Torgerson has three children. Torgerson will begin in his new capacity Jan. 2.
