With millions on the mind, Albert Myran purchases a lottery ticket from Kim Korth at Rosie’s Food and Gas in south Dickinson as Heidi Craft looks on Wednesday evening. The Powerball jackpot was at $550 million Wednesday night, up from $425 million on Monday and up from $325 million during the Saturday drawing. Ticket sales across the nation were fast and furious, with lottery officials saying sales topped $2 million per hour on Wednesday. The chance of winning the jackpot was 1 in 175.2 million. But just in case, the winning numbers were: 5-16-22-23-29 and the Powerball was: 6.
