Saydee Wahl waters the poinsettia plants Thursday morning at 3rd Avenue Floral and Greenhouse. The plant, indigenous to Mexico and Central America, is known its red and green foliage. By the end of the holiday season, the shop expects to distribute more than 2,000 plants to area churches and homes.
