Short power outage this morning hits part of Dickinson
A brief power outage in Dickinson was likely caused by an attempt to switch lines to do maintenance work, Montana-Dakota Utilities Spokesman Mark Hanson said.
A brief power outage in Dickinson was likely caused by an attempt to switch lines to do maintenance work, Montana-Dakota Utilities Spokesman Mark Hanson said.
Crews were switching from one line to another when power went out at 10:37 this morning for much of west and downtown Dickinson. While the exact cause of the outage is unknown, Hanson said the lines are set to go out as a safety feature, though this time it was not planned.
MDU is investigating the exact cause.
