US sens from ND, TX wager steaks on FCS title game
FARGO — U.S. Sens. John Hoeven of North Dakota and John Cornyn of Texas have placed a friendly wager on the outcome of the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision title game between North Dakota State University and Sam Houston State.
FARGO — U.S. Sens. John Hoeven of North Dakota and John Cornyn of Texas have placed a friendly wager on the outcome of the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision title game between North Dakota State University and Sam Houston State.
If NDSU wins, Cornyn will give Hoeven some Texas beef steaks. If Sam Houston State prevails, Hoeven will give Cornyn some North Dakota bison steaks.
The title game is a rematch of last year’s FCS championship game, which NDSU won 17-6. This year’s game is at 11 a.m. Saturday in Frisco, Texas.
