Marion Bingert

A Mass of Christian burial for Marion (Tkach) Bingert, 101, Dickinson, formerly of Hebron/Glen Ullin, is 10 a.m. CST Saturday, Jan. 19, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Hebron, with Rev. Jeff Zwack celebrating. Burial will follow at the St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, rural Hebron.

Visitation for Marion is 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. CST Friday, Jan. 18, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, with a rosary service at 5 p.m. CST. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the Mass on Saturday.

Marion went to heaven Monday, Jan. 14, at Richardton Health Center, Richardton.

Marion was born Dec. 9, 1911, near Dickinson, and grew up near Antelope. She was the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth (Roether) Loran.

Marion married Peter Tkach on Oct. 26, 1931, in Richardton. They lived and farmed south of Hebron/Glen Ullin until Peter died Feb. 26, 1976.

Marion moved into Hebron shortly after Peter’s death.

She married Francis Bingert on June 18, 1988. Francis died Sept. 4, 1999. Marion moved to Evergreen in Dickinson in 2006.

Marion is survived by her six children: Susan (Ray) Ficek, Dickinson, Gerald (Joanne) Tkach, Dickinson, Donald (Betty) Tkach, Williston, Sharon (Ben) Bertsch, New Leipzig, Sheila (Jerome) Koehler, Glen Ullin, Timothy (Brenda) Tkach, Hebron; two step-children, Frances Schuetz, Kansas City, Mich., and Catherine Bingert, Denver; 22 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, four step-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Peter; seven sisters; three brothers; and husband, Francis.
