West River Community Center in Dickinson is closed because a dryer caught fire this afternoon but will open at its usual time Friday.

West River Community Center in Dickinson is closed because a dryer caught fire this afternoon but will open at its usual time Friday.

The building was evacuated and suffered smoke damage but will be open at 5 a.m. Friday, according to a press release.

No one was injured, building attendant Ken Anderson said.
