Class B boys poll mostly unchanged, Ryan stays top girls poll
The top five of the Class B boys basketball poll remained unchanged Monday as Beulah, North Star and Trinity, Rugby and Carrington stayed in the top five spots, respectively.
The top five of the Class B boys basketball poll remained unchanged Monday as Beulah, North Star and Trinity, Rugby and Carrington stayed in the top five spots, respectively.
Beulah, the unanimous No. 1 at 13-0 and the one of three unbeaten teams in the state alongside No. 5 Carrington (12-0) and No. 8 Strasburg-Zeeland (12-0), was coming off a 58-53 victory over Trinity (13-1) on Jan. 15.
No. 2 North Star (11-1) has only lost to Beulah and No. 4 Rugby (12-1) has only lost to North Star.
In the Class B girls basketball poll, Minot Ryan remained the unanimous No. 1-ranked team with an 8-0 record. Grafton (9-0) stayed at No. 2 while New Town (8-1) leapt from two spots to No. 3.
Beach (6-2) is receiving votes.
