Joseph “Joe” Enderle, 90, formerly of the Taylor and Richardton area, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson.
Joseph “Joe” Enderle, 90, formerly of the Taylor and Richardton area, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson.
Joe’s Mass of Christian burial is 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Richardton, with Rev. Boniface Muggli, O.S.B., as the celebrant. Interment will take place at the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Visitation is today from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a rosary and vigil service at 6 p.m. with Abbot Brian Wangler, O.S.B., presiding at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Visitation will continue at the church Saturday one hour prior to services.
Joe was born on Jan. 15, 1923, in Chicago, Ill., to Joseph and Mary (Billman) Enderle.
Joe farmed north of Taylor for many years.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Mary’s Church in Richardton.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary, in 1969, seven brothers and one sister.
Joe is survived by sisters, Ruth Brown of Bismarck, and Ramona Brown of Oregon; daughters, Sylvia Maxey (Pat) of Ramsey, Minn., Cindy Mosby (Mike) of Bozeman, Mont., and Becky Gunwall (Rob) of Lexington, S.C.; sons, James (Phyllis) of Taylor, David (Carol) of Spearfish, S.D., Rick of Fargo, and Mike of Glendive, Mont.; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are with Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson.
