Class B basketball polls remain largely unchanged
Beulah and Minot Ryan remained the No. 1-ranked teams in the Class B boys and girls basketball media polls, respectively, on Monday.

Beulah and Minot Ryan remained the No. 1-ranked teams in the Class B boys and girls basketball media polls, respectively, on Monday.
There were few changes in the boys poll as North Star (12-0) and Dickinson Trinity (13-1), whose only losses are to Beulah (15-0), hung on to the Nos. 2 and 3 spots, respectively. Rugby (14-1) stayed at No. 4 while Four Winds-Minnewaukan (12-2) jumped up one place to No. 5.
The top seven teams in the girls poll were unchanged while Shiloh Christian (9-2) moved up one spot to No. 8 and No. 9 Ray and No. 10 Parshall, both unbeaten at 11-0, are ranked for the first time this season. No. 2-ranked Grafton lost to Lakota-Adams-Edmore 59-50 on Monday.
Beach (7-4), despite a loss to Carrington on Saturday, received votes in the girls poll. The Buccaneers then lost to Watford City 52-44 on Monday.
The polls are voted on by members of the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association.
