Faith Camp

Private family service for Faith Camp, 84 of Dickinson, will be held at the Stevenson Funeral Home and Crematory. Following the cremation her ashes will be taken to Missouri for interment.

Faith passed away on Jan. 24, 2013, at St. Benedict’s Health Center in Dickinson.

Faith Loraine LaChapelle was born Dec. 9, 1928, in Wisconsin, daughter of Alfred and Nine Mae (LaLone) LaChapelle.

She grew up and attended school in Wisconsin where she graduated from high school. She later attended art school in Oklahoma. Faith spent most of her life in Missouri where she worked for a manufacturing company. She moved to North Dakota in 1975 and has made her home here since.

Faith loved art and was an accomplished artist. She entered the Dickinson State University 75th Jubilee logo contest and won first place. Her logo is still used to this day.

Faith is survived by her daughter Karen (Douglas) Farnsworth of Elk Mound, Wis.; grandchildren Brian Farnsworth of Dickinson, Clay (Tiffany) Farnsworth of Dickinson and Matthew Farnsworth of Elk Mound, Wis; six great-grandchildren; brother, Alfred LaChapelle of Milwaukee, Wis.; and sisters, Carol Atterbery of Walnut Grove, Mo., and Nina Karrels of Milwaukee, Wis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Nina Mae LaChapelle.
