The assembly concluded a Pennies for Patients fundraiser, with the students and faculty raising $2,856.57 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The fundraiser was inspired by school counselor Amanda Fisher, whose mother, Robbie Duttenhefer is battling lymphoma. American Bank Center-north kept count of the pennies.
