Hawks’ DMR team breaks school record at NAIA indoors
GENEVA, Ohio — The Dickinson State track and field team had just one event during Thursday’s preliminaries at the NAIA national indoor championships at the Spire Institute.
GENEVA, Ohio — The Dickinson State track and field team had just one event during Thursday’s preliminaries at the NAIA national indoor championships at the Spire Institute.
But, the Blue Hawks made it a memorable one.
The distance medley relay team of juniors Denis Patrick, Nathan Magstadt and Dustin Sandbak and freshman Dante Carter ran a school-record time of 9 minutes, 59.08 seconds to qualify for the finals in first place.
The finals for the event is Saturday. DSU has more events scheduled for today.
