UPDATED: Nearly all highways in southwest ND under no-travel advisory

Most highways in southwest North Dakota are under a no-travel advisory, according to the North Dakota Department of Transportation’s website.

Most highways in southwest North Dakota are under a no-travel advisory, according to the North Dakota Department of Transportation’s website.

There is a no-travel advisory in effect for these roads:

— Interstate 94 from the Montana border to Richardton.

— All of Highway 85 from the South Dakota border to Williston.

— All of Highway 22.

— All of Highway 16 from Golva to the Highway 68 junction.

— Highway 21 between Highway 85 junction to the Highway 8 junction

— All of Highway 67.

— Highway 12 from the Montana border to the South Dakota border

— Highway 8 from the Highway 21 junction to the Highway 12 junction.

Every major highway in northwest North Dakota, including Highway 2, is under a no-travel advisory. There are ice and snow travel advisories on all other roads in western North Dakota.

Billings, Dunn, Golden Valley and McKenzie counties are under a Blizzard Warning by the National Weather Service. All other counties in The Dickinson Press coverage area are in a Winter Weather Advisory.
