Beach’s Dietz on NSIC all-freshman team

University of Mary forward Brittney Dietz has been named to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference’s all-freshman team.

The Beach High School graduate, a 5-foot-10 redshirt freshman for the Marauders, averaged 9.4 points and 3.4 rebounds per game off the bench while shooting 52 percent from the field, which ranked sixth in the NSIC. She also shot 82 percent from the free-throw line to lead U-Mary.
