We were all hoping and praying for a different outcome. This is so tragic. Don't let a day go by without telling the ones you love how much you do love them and don't take life for granted for we are not promised tomorrow. Lizz - we love you and are with you in our hearts and are praying for you. To the other families - you are in our thoughts and prayers also.

I did not know the girls but when I heard the news I cried my eyes out. I think that this tragedy has touch everyone in our community. How do we deal with the sadness? It is the comfort of friends and family and remembrance that will guide you through this horrible time. My condolences to the families and friends of Afton, Kyrstin and Ashley. I can't even imagine the pain that you must feel and I hope that you will let our community bare some of it for you. Rest in peace girls. The angels have opened their arms to you and have embraced you all. There is not a life in our community that you have not touched.

Being a softball Mom, I am well aware of the character these young woman must have had to successfully pursue their education and their passion for a sport they loved so dearly. All you softball girls out there know that you are not the feign of heart and I am certain they battled to the end. This is an absolutely heartbreaking tragedy. My condolences to all the family and friends of these beautiful, talented young women. To the Lady Blue Hawks, stay strong ladies and be there for each other. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
