Dickinson Public Library is pursuing National Register status

Steel magnate Andrew Carnegie said rich men should be “trustees” of their wealth. The Scottish immigrant backed up this talk by donating hundreds of millions of dollars to various causes. Here in Dickinson, residents got a $12,500 sliver of that money in 1908 to build a library.
