Work may begin soon on Xcel electric hike order

BISMARCK — It’s been more than two months since the Public Service Commission heard evidence about Xcel Energy’s proposed 14-percent electric rate increase and commissioners say they are still waiting to get final briefs from the company so they can make a decision.
