New house for North Dakota's governor's

Rep. Jim Kasper, R-Fargo, says the state's ample budget surplus — which is expected to top $1 billion — has room for up to $3 million for a new governor's home. It would be built on the site of the existing residence on the southwest corner of the Capitol grounds.
