Board accepts NDSU president's resignation

The state Board of Higher Education accepted North Dakota State University President Joseph Chapman’s resignation Thursday, saying his accomplishments should not be overshadowed by criticism of spending on a $2 million campus home and his $22,000 trip to President Barack Obama’s inauguration.
