Reviving America’s pastime: Eastern ND teams join a growing amateur league

GRAND FORKS — Pat Adair’s hope when an amateur baseball league was formed in 2009 in southeastern North Dakota was that the league could maintain its 14-team membership. After all, amateur baseball in North Dakota has been a sport that has seen declining participation through the years.
