Dickinson crew camp housing ordinance passes, changes made before vote, alcohol allowed with owner’s approval

Dickinson commissioners worked out the kinks to crew camp rules during Monday’s meeting at City Hall and in good time as a Louisiana company has recently inquired about bringing in a 400 to 1,000-unit man camp. City Commission members approved an ordinance which empowers the city to set conditions and revoke the permit if the owner doesn’t meet requirements, City Attorney Matt Kolling said.
