Disappearance of 'heroic' deputy hits Wyoming town

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Rescue workers kept watch and combed the banks of a swollen eastern Wyoming river hoping to spot a sheriff's deputy who has been missing since he swam in days ago to try to save a struggling teenage girl.
