Warm, dry conditions start wildfire season
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — Although warmer weather is being embraced by many snow-accustomed residents in the Plains and Upper Midwest, the unseasonably dry conditions have turned the region’s vast grasslands into a tinderbox.
