Spirit Lake gets help on child protection

GRAND FORKS — The U.S. Interior Department has dispatched additional personnel to help the Spirit Lake Sioux Nation deal with child protection problems on the North Dakota reservation, North Dakota Democratic Sen. Kent Conrad said Friday.
