Former Vegas church treasurer facing fraud charges

LAS VEGAS (AP) — A 48-year-old former treasurer of a Las Vegas church is accused of siphoning funds into his own accounts in a scheme that federal prosecutors in Nevada allege cost the congregation some $1.75 million.
