Fighting hunger with empty bowl soup luncheon

Local artists are making dozens of soup bowls for a fundraiser to fight hunger. “Empty Bowls is an event that brings an awareness of members in the community whose bowls are empty — there’s no soup in their bowls,” Microtel Inn and Suites administrative assistant Marilyn Sahlstrom said.
