Think tank more important

Jim DeMint of South Carolina resigned from the U.S. Senate in December to become the CEO of The Heritage Foundation, a Washington think tank. Washington has scores of conservative and liberal “think tanks” cranking out research and information that present their particular viewpoints in the most favorable light.
