North Dakota National Guard members working at the Raging Rivers sandbag site in Mandan,along with civilians loading sandbags from the site, remove their hats and bow their hands for a minute of silence at 3 p.m. on Monday in observance of the National Moment of Remembrance for Memorial Day. More than 1,900 Guardsmen are working in the Bismarck, Mandan and Minot communities to battle rising floodwaters.
