Dickinson State sophomore Nathan Magstadt, shown hurdling last season during a meet on May 5 at the Badlands Activities Center, and the Blue Hawks get their outdoor track and field season under way at noon Saturday when Jamestown College, Minot State and Valley City State come to town for the Dickinson State Invitational, a meet that was scheduled late because of expected weather conditions. It’s the earliest DSU will be starting their season in several years.
