Ann McElhinney, producer and director of her upcoming documentary “FrackNation,” watches a truck drive by Thursday west of Dickinson. McElhinney is scouting locations in North Dakota and Montana this week to film her movie in response to the anti-fracking movie “Gasland” by Josh Fox. She wants to portray the truth about hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, a technique used to extract fossil fuels.
