Rhame resident Abbigale Steeke’s ewes she raises as part of a 4-H project wander around an open barn gate on the family farm. Steeke’s mother, Misty, is a southwest director with the North Dakota Lamb and Wool Producers Association and an FFA advisor and ag teacher at Scranton High School, where she encourage youth, like her daughter, to get involved in North Dakota’s sheep industry and increase production of the livestock.
