Warrick Dilse, 10, hoists a pumpkin on his shoulders that he picked Sept. 10 from the patch he operates with his three brothers near their home in Scranton. The boys started the patch last year on a half-acre of land near the family’s home that was not suitable for their father to use to grow other crops on the family’s small grain farm.
