Calf

An injured 6-month-old horned Hereford calf looks around on Delmar Ficek’s ranch Wednesday. Late last month, the calf and several others were attacked by what authorities said was a pack of domesticated dogs. The calf, which is on antibiotics, lost both ears and suffered a badly injured leg.
