Berg Elementary sixth-grader Keaton Smith searches in a book to find out what types of fish live in North Dakota at the Dickinson Area Public Library on Friday after school. Smith didn’t think he would make it out on the ice to fish this winter, but that’s OK, because he prefers to fish from docks in the summer. His favorite type of fish to eat is trout. State representatives have told the House Energy and Natural Resources Committee that residents along Lake Sakakawea are frustrated with the amount of regulations that make it difficult to set up needed amenities around the lake such as docks.
