Dickinson High sophomore Joe Hanstad drives past a defender in the semifinals of the West Region Tournament on March 6 in Bismarck. Hanstad was one of three underclassmen on the Class A boys all-state first team. It is the first time this decade that there have been more underclassmen than seniors on the team.
