Funeral services for Lorraine R. Laub, age 89 of Elgin, will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 3 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Elgin. Pastor Wayne Rouse will officiate with burial in the Peace Lutheran Cemetery at Heil.
A family service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday evening at the Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home in Elgin.
She passed from this life on Monday, June 29 at the Jacobson Memorial Hospital in Elgin.
Surviving family members include her six daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and Charles Finck, Dickinson; Janet Laub, Reno, Nev.; Jo Ann and Randy Craven, Augusta, Kansas; Eldean Laub Wikan and Thomas Wikan, Woodinville, Wash.; Elaine and Cyrous Abedi, Orange, Va.; Edith and Dale Johnson, Walla Walla, Wash.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Clarence Jr. and Sandi Laub, Elgin; Perry and Brenda Laub, Valley City; 16 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, Jane in 1958, one son-in-law, James Nordin, four brothers, Theodore, Henry, Calvin, and Ruben Diehl, four sisters, Sarah Gruebele Kranich, Ida Zeller, Clara Zeller Okken Schatz, and Ardella Tecker.
A memorial has been established.
