Genevieve Brubaker, 85, Dickinson, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Feb. 5, at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Health Center, Dickinson.
Private family graveside inurnment services where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, will take place later this Spring at the Ogema Protestant Cemetery, Ogema, Minn.
Genevieve is survived by her five children, Millard (Ann) Brubaker, Andover, Minn., Bruce (Arlene) Brubaker, West Fargo, Brian (Lynn) Brubaker, Ray, Gale (Larry) Graham, Dickinson, and Perry (Cherri) Brubaker, Arvilla; she was blessed with 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two step, grandchildren; and two step, great-grandchildren.
She resided in Ogema, Minn. until she was preceded in death by her husband, Millard of 44 years. Genevieve spent her later years in Dickinson since 1992, with her daughter. She leaves behind a legacy of love for her family, her cooking, her wonderful sense of humor, and all that good stuff. “oi, oi, oi!!”
