Virginia passed away Monday, Nov. 12, at ManorCare Health Services in Minot.

Virginia Ellen Stredwick was born May 16, 1932, in Minot to Tom and Ag (Hanson) Stredwick. She grew up on the family farm west of Berthold.

The family moved to town and Virginia graduated from Berthold High School in 1949.

On March 12, 1951, Virginia and Gaylord Tudahl were united in marriage. The couple made their home in the Minot and Berthold areas where Virginia worked at various businesses as a bookkeeper and auditor.

In 1974, the couple moved to Dickinson where Gaylord and Virginia, with partners, began Southwest Business Machines. She continued to work there after Gaylord passed away in 1996, retiring from SBM at the age of 75.

Virginia enjoyed golfing, crocheting and was an avid Minnesota Twins fan. She was very proud of her many beautiful gardens. Virginia was a great caregiver and enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. She lovingly crocheted blankets for every member of her family.

Virginia is survived by her children: Gayla (Marlowe) Kittelson of Minot, Rochelle (Danny) Moon of Ham Lake, Minn., and Teri (Kevin) Nitschke of Lincoln; seven grandchildren, Trevor (Anne) Kittelson, Wade (Anna) Kittelson, Randi Tudahl, Matthew (fiancé Darcy) Nitschke, Erica Nitschke, Dannyelle Moon and Chrystal Moon; five great-grandchildren, Kasen, Kailee, Ethan, Sully and Lola; and siblings, Audrey Cline of Dickinson, Myrna Ehlis of Mandan, Pat (David) Rinn of Dickinson, and Tom (Char) Stredwick of Boise, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Agnes Stredwick, and her husband, Gaylord.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to The American Cancer Society or to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Remembrances and condolences may be shared with the family at www.stevensonfuneralhome.com.
