Rose Marie Huschka, 82, Dickinson, died Sunday, Dec. 16, at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson.

Rose Marie Huschka, 82, Dickinson, died Sunday, Dec. 16, at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson.

Rose’s Mass of Christian burial is 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Rev. Todd Kreitinger as the celebrant. Inurnment will take place at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.

Visitation is today from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a rosary and vigil service at 7 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service with Deacon Ron Keller presiding.

Rose Marie Schiwal was born March 22, 1930, in Dickinson, the daughter of Joseph and Katherine Schiwal. She was raised and educated in the Gladstone and Lefor area, remaining there until 1953.

Rose married Aloyouis Huschka on April 13, 1953, in Lefor. They lived in various areas while her husband worked for the park service.

Rose is survived by her two sons, Patrick and (Jean) Huschka, and Jeffry (Leann) Huschka of Dickinson; three grandchildren, Amy Jo Huschka, Dominic Huschka and Justin Anderson; and her siblings, Paul (Leona) Schiwal, Dickinson, Francis (Shirley) Schiwal, Layton, Utah, and Joanne Todd, Omaha, Neb.; and a sister-in-law, Martha Schiwal, Dickinson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aloyouis on July 20, 2006; her parents; brothers, Joseph Schiwal, Mike Schiwal, Carl Schiwal, John Schiwal and Anton Schiwal; 2-year-old infant brother, Karl Huschka; sister, Katherine Huschka; sisters-in-law, Ann Schiwal and Jean Schiwal; brothers-in-law, Gerald Todd and Peter Huschka; grandparents, Anton and Marion Schiwal, and Karl and Maria Huth.

Mass Intentions are provided by frank and Shirley Schiwal.

Arrangements are with Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson.
