Beeper’s funeral service is 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, at the United Methodist Church, Dickinson, with Rev. Dan Freed officiating.
Visitation is Monday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, and will continue Tuesday, one hour prior to services at the church.
Kevin F. Benz was born July 5, 1962, in Dickinson, the son of John and Veronica (Jahner) Benz. He was raised and educated in Dickinson, having graduated from Trinity High School in 1980.
Kevin was united in marriage to Jill Ackerman on May 25, 1984, at the United Methodist Church.
He worked at Jack’s Restaurant, Happy Joe’s and the Esquire prior to beginning a 29-year career with Bob’s Oilfield Service as a Roustabout. In his spare time, he enjoyed working with carpentry.
Beeper is survived by his wife, Jill; his twin daughter and son, Lisa (special friend-Torry Kjelshus) Benz, Fargo, and David Benz, Dickinson; his father and step-mother, John and Theresa Benz, Dickinson; four brothers, Darwin (Mary) Minneapolis, Cordell (Kim) Benz, Prosperity, S.C., Dean (Emily) Benz, Fargo, and Bob Benz, Minneapolis; several nieces and nephews; and his mother-in-law, Delores Ackerman, Dickinson.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Veronica; father-in-law, Harold Ackerman; infant son, Steven Benz; and brother-in-law, Tom Ackerman.
Arrangements are with Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson.
